Shiver Fest was fun and hosted many differnt aspects of kiting. The show boards and skies were awsome, I even had the chance to brush up on the few skills I have. I am the guy flying the big single line kites with line laundry. I also had a 25' dia Crown being flown off 2300 pound line. Another guy from Jamestown was flying sportkites as well, he has competed on a national level for sport kite competitions. And we both build kites as a hobbie.
Would like to thank Nels Nelson, for making Shiver Fest happen and bringing us together. And to Derrick Warner from Grand Forks for bringing his power kites and gear for the public to try out in front of his trailor. He does sell power kites and accessarys in Grand Forks.
