Quality and re-sale ...... get the "real" thing......you get what you pay for. |

They're both great kites. They both fly very well and have very similar flying characteristics. If cash is tight go with the Montana. It's true the resale value may not be up there with the Frenzy because it lacks the Ozone name but it's still a sweet kite and a lot of bang for the buck. I've flown both kites extensively and flown the 7m of both back to back for hours and they are very close in feel. For me the Montana seemed to have a little smoother lift and a bit more adjustment depowerwise and faster turn rate than the Frenzy. The Frenzy ( to me) seems to have more raw grunt, flies in light winds better and recovers better from sudden wing collapsing wind shifts. The build quality of the Monatana is great and as always the Frenzy is bomber as well. I actually prefer the bar on the Montana. Go to Racekites.com and read the reviews. Those Brits give well detailed reviews and most of them are non-biased. When comparing kites its always get input from people that have actually flown both the kites in the comparison. |
