Finally winter broke through the Rockies and reached the Northeast. And to celebrate, Gary Kjelleren opened the season here in Vermont with a big ride on a small kite: 49.9mpg on skis with a 5m Waroo. We were also psyched to hear from some riders from all over North America - Ohio, Winnipeg, Maine, Montana and Vermont. That is great news for conditions at least on this continent. Gary won an Ultra Nectar beanie. Next week's winner will sport an Ozone beanie.
