Securing kite when ready to pack up
How do you guys secure your bar (or handles) when it's time to pack up. I usually use a ground stake in the summer, but the ground is too frozen now. I just need something to temporarily hold the kite in place so I can walk to it and start to pack up.
Thanks!

Da Vinch, what I do to secure my kite is I fly it to the edge of the window and slowly bring it down. then I let it fall lead edge down and i pull one of the strings so that it is in the layd down possition. But, my kite is a bow style kite so it won't move when it is layed down the right way. however my brother has a C kite and his gets pushed down wind when in the proper position.
If you have someone to help land your kite deffinitly ask for assitance. less things will go wrong if you have someone help you!
Keep flying and riding!!!

An ice screw, if you're on frozen lakes. Just make sure you've got something attached to it so you don't lose it in drifting snow.
