Skier
Ice,
I'm not a kiteskier (yet), but I've heared most people can pick up snowkiting on skis within a day or two. Perhaps if you give us some additional information we can better help you. What's going wrong when you ski, what equipment are you on (kite, skis, harness)?
I'll see if I can find someone who's more experienced with kiteskiing to help out also.
Also, thanks for posting a new Switzerland location in the locations section! Do you have a photo?
Good luck,
Eric

youll get it
here is the deal ICE...
when you are kite sking....and running the skis side ways and or tacking with the kite....you are essentially turning the entire time in comparison to the ski mountain or gravity powered skiing experience...what you need to do is keep the kite powered in the 12-3 (right tack) and or the 9-12 position (left tack) (wind clock wise..) then basically keep the pressure on the down wind ski edge...and maybe partial weight on the upwind ski for balance and distribution of power to the skis as a whole unit......experiement with legs and angulation and pressure etc..
basically remember that flying the KITE is going to be the control for movement so be sure that if your having problems that it is first found in perhaphs your kite flying then check out the way you are skiing it will then come naturally...
Good Luck. go to Utah in March for the 25 26 Masters event..
