In what was probably the last battle for the speediest on White Bear Lake, MN this season Mark Kedrowski just nipped past John Zietlow on the same day and Joe Levins' run from last week and a big effort from Chris Krug in the slushy northeast to become the new leader of the Stormboarding snowkite speed ranking list.

Mark won some Himaya Sun protection and next week's winner's toes will stay warm with a nice pair of Dakine ski/ride socks. This will be the last of the weekly prizes for this season with the contest ending at the end of April. We are still just hanging on to riding here in Vermont - the ice fishing holes are starting to widen. Everyone who is riding on ice this late in the season - please be careful and watch your feet.
