Kite trips to the Extreme North
In the first half of March group of tourists will organize kite trip to one of the most picturesque places in Russia – Kola Peninsula. Kiters will start the trip in the village Tumanny (Murmansk region) and then pass almost 350 km of boundless expanses of the Kola Peninsula arriving at the coast of the Barents Sea. During the expedition they will cross numerous canyons of rivers, lakes and beautiful plateau. End of the route will be in the mouth of the river Danilovka in the White Sea Throat. Then, kiters will come back along the same route. Totally, they will pass in free-running mode almost 700 km with kites of different square, depending on wind speed.
Next kite-trip sportsmen will organize in the first half of April. At this time in front of them will be even more serious problem – to overcome almost 900 km! And it is in the harsh polar climate! Expedition route will go from the village Mezen’ (Arkhangelsk region) to Subpolar Urals (Vorkuta).
After transfer on snowmobiles to the village Nes’, where forest area ends, sportsmen will start kite travelling through Kanin Tundra, Timan Ridge, then – through Malozemelskaya Tundra to Naryan-Mar, and finally – through Bolshezemelskaya Tundra to Vorkuta.

All participants are very skilled sportsmen with 15 years experience of kiting and kite trips to the White Sea, Kola Peninsula, Onega and Ladoga Lakes.
To prepare to these exciting events sportsmen organized training kite trip from the village Voznesenye through Onega Lake to Medvezhyegorsk (Republic of Karelia).
