Wow! Everybody must be out trackin the new snow!

Have been using ski's to kite with, but would like to try a board...
Anybody have suggestions for a used board to look for? and a pick of binding type?

Is it true Island Park has 7"?

Boarding is comfy I've never tried kitesking so i'm not sure on the differences. Go for a board swap or closeouts get in the 150's to 160's bindings choice are flow's but any binding will do. make sure it has ratchet bindings and a soft pad to reduce fatigue. I had a old old old binding prior to my flows and they really hurt the tops of my feet. clickers are a option too and a definete to look for. They don't make them anymore but are very cool.

Island park problably has 7" but southwest montana has like 2 feet.

I'll be lookin around a few 2nd hand stores today to see what might be available...

I think the ski's tend to keep you twisted a little at the waist, as your feet and knees are pointed in the direction you want to go, and the kite pulling off to the side...It feels different on the knees and legs than when you're down hill skiing, for sure.
It looks like with a board, if you ride ducky, that you can square your body and the harness a bit more to the kite, making it a bit more comfortable on the waist and legs..?
Sure looks like walking around for kite setup in board boots might be more friendly than stiff ski boots in 12" of snow, too..

Lookin for way's I can get an extra hour of fun outta my ol' legs !

Also have Cabrinha Empire Bindings that are designed so you won't have problems catching lines on the buckles.
