The news is up along with some pictures from last weekend. Thanks to Chip Wasson for writing up the recap. http://www.flyozone.com/snowkites/en/ne ... ines/10240 Despite lack of snow, nearly 50 Snowkiters gathered at Skyline to freeride and discuss issues that affect our fledgling sport. There were also some educational clinics including wilderness first aid and avalanche awareness. Those that paid attention know how to turn a kite and skis into a backcountry stretcher! Thanks to everyone who attended, it is the participants that make it all happen. This year we had several Snowkite Brands that showed their support for Snowkiting and were on hand offering advice and products to demo. A big Thank You to Flysurfer, HQ Kites, Concept Air, Best and Ozone for all of their effort, we'll see you on the snow again soon! Windzup, Brian Schenck |
