Doing a snowkite lesson and have three choices for skis:

167 Tecno C2 Carve

165 Nordica

6' 90's "Racing" somethings

The first two are modern carvers, the last garage sale stuff but with little sidecut. I heard that was important for upwind. Doing this on a lake with a mix of ice and snow. Wind looking like 12-17 knots. Try em all...or not? Advice appreciated.
