Post Kitestorm Update - partners, hotel ++++
Hello snowkiters,

It is snowing as I write this and we have lots and lots of ice here at Sand Bar. Kitestorm is a few weeks away: Feb 21-22 and we have some updates...

--Book your room at the Best Western by Feb 1 to guarantee our excellent rate and be able to come back to a pool, hot tub, dinner, party, prizes and cookies before bed. They will make an effort to give riders that rate after the 1st but it is not guaranteed.

--We are very psyched to welcome the following kite partners who will be at the event with demos and kites at great event pricing

*HQ Kites: Tim and Chris will be back with the Apex II, Montana IV and new water and snow re-launchable Neo kites as well as their excellent trainers.
*Ozone: This year will feature the Access, Frenzy as well as the Instinct kites for riders to demo. We will also have the XC harness - a climbing style harness specifically designed for snowkiting.
*Slingshot: We are very psyched to welcome team rider, Shaun Keating and crew who will be showing off their skills and helping riders discover the excellent features of the Slingshot T3 and Rev kites.

--We continue to be blessed with support from Dakine and will have Fusions and a selection of other Dakine harnesses available for purchase at event prices as well as a box of goodies for lucky kiters to win throughout the weekend. You must have a harness to demo the big kites and we will take pre-orders.

--New partner Dynafit has kicked in some prizes and you can check out our ski-boot-binding combo that has hacked a full 5 pounds off of each foot in equipment weight over our old alpine set-ups.

We are working on Peter Lynn details and we still have more partners to announce.

If you are coming and have a friend or someone who is interested in a Taste of Snowkite clinic, please contact us right away as our clinics are all nearly full.

Keep up on Kitestorm details as they happen on: http://www.stormboarding.com/kitestorm2009.html or find Stormboarding and the Kitestorm on Facebook

We hope you are enjoying the new snow (we will) and are looking forward to the Kitestorm this year.

Think snow,
