Post subject:  From Sweden to Utah biggest speed week ever: 67.7 wins

Just when we thought Gary Kjelleren of Vermont had found some big speed, he found more and got his personal best, won the week and remains on the top with a run of 67.7mph.

It was a big week for making speed runs all over the world and we are so excited to have had 18 entries come in from 3 countries and 5 states on skis, snowboards and tele. Several people achieved their personal best speeds and it sounds like fun was had by all. Riders from Winnipeg, Canada as well as White bear Lake, MN have speed conditions so we are looking forward to the next few weeks as far as this contest goes. That said, we welcome and respect all speeds - you never know when a section of the country or world will have light breeze and you might get lucky with a weekly win at any speed.

Charles Meding wins a Slingshot t-shirt this week for his very fast run of 60.2mph in New Hampshire because Gary already won a prize in March.

Next week's winner will a Dakine hat. See the big week's results as well as the whole list and Gary's video going 65+ from last week on: http://www.stormboarding.com/speedranking0809.html

Be careful. Go fast and have fun this spring.
