Hey guys, I've been throwing around the idea for some time to have a snowkite fest in north dakota. I'm still in the feasibility, planning, research phase, so i wanted to throw out the question.... If we had a kitefest in Grand Forks ND, would you be interested in coming?? |

Geez, I'm surprised no one has replied to this. I'd certainly be interested provided the dates would work out and you have a decent venue for it. Were you thinking about trying to get the general public involved ie trainer lessons and demos? We went to the UMD kite expo last year (held north of Duluth on i believe Island Lake) and though it was really low key and laid back, they made a point of having trainers and demo kites available as well as instructors so that new kiters could have a go at it in a safe controlled environment. Whichever way you go with it, I'd be up for it. Jack |
