Post Snowkite locations In Canada?
Hey all

I have been kite surfing for a few years in the UK and have tried it on short break holidays too. however i tried snowkiting on my own in the Scottish highlands last winter and it was INCREDIBLE. totally hooked on one outing. have now got the chance for a few weeks off work in feb and looking to travel to canada and have a go out there.

Can you recommend some good/popular spots where there are either classes, lessons or guides that are in a reasonable proximity to the normal snow board slopes. I have seen a few companies that organise package deals in Iceland and Norway but i fancy a change from Europe.

Any leads at all would be greatly appreciated

Hey there! Welcome to Snowkiting's endless possibilities!

I'm not to sure of any places in Canada presonally (I'm a North Dakota U.S. resident) but I do hear they hold some real diamond locations.

I'm going to send a message to my Canadian contacts, and see what pops up.

Standby for further info!

Matt

Hey dude, I live in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. North Shore Of Lake Superior. If ya check out this site, http://www.superiorkiteboarding.ca, they have a map section of a few known locations. And we are planning a kite expo for Feb. 26th - 28th at Beyond the Giant B&B. Although this will be no where near a true ski hill. Quebec had its past winter championships in Estrie, Quebec.
And the west coast is getting some insane amounts of snow already.
Unfortunately I've only rode my local spots, so I can't give ya much details about the other regions in Canada.
