I don't snowkite PA. But I'd be willing to try if you get enough snow. I do know how it feels to be a lonely kiter...
It's in times like these that good local contacts & forums come in handy... How close are you to Buffalo, NY? I know there are some guys who snowkite on the shores of Lake Erie... somewhere near an old toxic waste dump (no joke).

I'm in south east PA, Philly area. So, its a bit of a hike.
Yeah, local fourms are nice. I don't see why more people don't fly kites in my area.

Yeah, this is the question that I was asking last year in North Dakota... now there are a dozen snowkiters and growing rapidly, just within my local town. Try what I did when I didn't have any kiting buddies; teach everyone who'll give you a time of day how to kite. Pretty soon, your "students" will be teaching their friends... you'll show up to a park and someone stanger will have a trainer in the air---and you'll find out that they got it from your buddies.
Or you can enjoy the wind and the lonely openness alone... nah.
Good Luck,
Eric
(P.S. I have two sign-in names; snowkit & Eric Byers. One's for administrative purposes. That's why you'll see both.)

I'm just hoping people don't fly kites in PA becuase its just not a good kite area, which means I'm a complete retard. I hope more that people just over looked kiting here, which means I'm a genius.

Snow Kiting in PA near Philly
I'm looking to get into snowkiting, I kitesurf, and definitely want to take advantage of the winter. Where do you go to go kiting? I've got a couple places in mind, but I haven't gotten the chance, and it hasn't snowed yet! I'm about 35 minutes from philly, so it's not that far either.

I live in the Lansdale area, about 35 minutes from Philly too. I'm not really sure where I'm going to snowkite yet, but I fly for fun at a school near me, its got huge fields I could snowkite on.
