I'm from the Toronto area and I really want to try Snowkiting but I have no idea how and where to get started. I noticed on the Locations section that there is snowkiting an hour north but I'm not sure where to go from there. Is there a company where I can rent a kite from? How do I get in on this?

Riopella,
It's awsome to see you getting into snowkiting. Build kiting experience to start off. Get hold of a 2-3 meter trainer kite (best on a bar) and fly it every day possible. Most trainer kites come with some sort of instruction booklet or dvd. Make sure you look through that information to learn about the wind-window and other concepts. Find an open field where you won't get tangled in anything and have at it. When you're done, you should be able to fly the kite with your eyes closed.
When you've got the skills down, hook up with an experienced kiter or an instructor to move to the next level w/ skis or a snowboard.
Good luck,
Eric
