Virginia Power Kites and Oslo Kite School have created the ultimate snowkiting trip to Haugastol, Norway from Jan. 15th-Dec. 2nd. The price for instruction and gear rental is only $500 for two weeks. The average high in Haugastol in mid-December is 27 degrees. Haugastol is on a plateau, and the days are typically short. However, there is a stadium with lights where you can fly your kites. We give instruction from beginner to intermediate, and we have kites by Cabrinha, HQ, RRD, Flexifoil, and Ozone as well as harnesses and other gear. All you have to bring is your skis and/or snowboard. You can find out more about the trip at . It is a good idea to sign up now and purchase your plane ticket in advance. Virginia Power Kites is a kiteboarding school located in the Virginia Beach area. Raphael Comprone, the manager, is a PASA certified instructor specializing in kitesurfing, kite landboarding, kite buggying, and snowkiting. Raphael has paragliding experience and specializes in big hangtime. Dusan Stojkovic is the manager of Oslo Kite School. This will be the trip of a lifetime, for beginning to advanced riders. The typical cost for gear rental is at least $500 a week, but we are giving you new gear and a great deal of kites to choose from for only $500 for two weeks, plus any instruction you might need, in the world's premiere location for snowkiting. We have now updated the kites we will have available for rental. We will have a many Flexifoil and Cabrinha kites, as well as the new Montana VI, Apex III, and Neo II for rental. In addition, we will have RRD's 12 and 7 m MKIII 2011 Obsession freestyle kite available for rental for those who prefer inflatables. The season starts early in Haugastol, and people are already snowkiting by November. Space is still available if you want to sign up now! |
