Virginia Power Kites and Oslo Kite School have created the ultimate snowkiting trip to Haugastol, Norway from Jan. 15th-Dec. 2nd. The price for instruction and gear rental is only $500 for two weeks. The average high in Haugastol in mid-December is 27 degrees. Haugastol is on a plateau, and the days are typically short. However, there is a stadium with lights where you can fly your kites. We give instruction from beginner to intermediate, and we have kites by Cabrinha, HQ, RRD, Flexifoil, and Ozone as well as harnesses and other gear. Raphael Comprone, the manager, is a PASA certified instructor specializing in kitesurfing, kite landboarding, kite buggying, and snowkiting. Raphael has paragliding experience and specializes in big hangtime. Dusan Stojkovic is the manager of Oslo Kite School. This will be the trip of a lifetime, for beginning to advanced riders.
