Virginiia Power Kites and Oslo Kite school have set up snowkiting camps in Norway. You can sign up for a two week period any date from Jan. 1st to the end of April. Included in the price is rental of kites (Cabrinha Switchblades, HQ kites, Ozone Frenzies, Nobile kites) and two days of instruction. It is recommended that you rent a car from the Oslo airport as you will need to drive from the airport to the inn. Oslo kite school will accompany you. Haugastol is the ideal snowkiting location. You have huge amounts of back country and mountains, lakes, and other terrain. The winds can be strong at times. You can also meet Bjorn Kaupang at the inn, the world snowkiting champion, at the inn.
