On most weeks, a run in the 50's would get the prize and win the week. In fact Week 11 was won by Chris Krug with a speed of 58.8mph in New Hampshire. This past week, 50 mph was not even fast enough for the top 5. It was a very fast week across the globe. For week 12, our big congratulations go to Petri Lehikoinen for having the fastest, approved speed on a snowkite: 73.55mph! He was riding in Helsinki, Finland and has posted some links to his data and a video on this forum. We would also like to recognize that there were several personal bests this week including Molly Savard who went a blistering 55.5mph on her skis in New Hampshire. And don't say that is fast for a girl, because that is fast. Period. We realize there is still plenty of riding around the wintery parts of the world so will extend the contest through the end of April. Keep on sending those speeds - typically the end of the season is when rides go their fastest.
