Hi! I've been looking on Flysurfer kites. I'm really stoked on the Unity 8m but it's pretty expensive. Is the Viron worth to buy insted of the Unity? Or maybe you guys have some other ideas about Foils that I also can use in the water. /Martin |

I did get a chance to get my 15M HQ Matrix out on the water and it performed great in the air. I would love to use it on the coast. But inland where I live, our winds have a tendancy to die for extended periods and this is to a closed cell foil what holy water is to a vampire. Once a tip would fill up, I needed a gargantuan gust to get the kite up and then even at that the kite was impossible to steer. IMHO - Open cell foils are first choice for snow, Closed cell foils are first for ocean steady breezes, and tubies are for all of the other crap we try to kite in. Matt |
