There is a lot going on in Newfoundland Canada lately when it comes to snowkiting and turning people onto a new way of getting around in the winter. The snowmobile culture here is huge and snowkiting has been gaining popularity as a way to get around the mountains without having to consume fossil fuels. . You can see some of the work the work the foundation has been doing to promote the sport and increase snowkite awareness in the province of newfoundland and labrador |

In Newfoundland Canada we have 3 different bio geo climatic zones that make the province super diverse. Eastern Newfoundland has some great kite surfing and western newfoundland has the best snow kiting. If you make your way to the province this year you can take advantage of a free snowkite lesson in the tablelands from who is doing free full day lessons every Thursday in the Tableland Mountains. |

Wish I was up there! I am hoping November is not a long wait for snow like last year. I have all of my spots picked out locally and abroad, but I wish I could go that far. Thanks for promoting Snowkiting! |
